My background began as a successful full-time freelance photographer for over 15 years. This involved capturing everything from fashion to food and weddings to sporting events.

I worked for both Daily and National newspapers, in Ireland and  abroad. I have worked for many public relation agencies, RTE, and covering political events. I have worked on the road, and in my busy Tipperary studio, meeting business people, families and even their animals!

I returned to education adding a BSc in Science to my existing BA in Photography. From this my career evolved into the field of medical photography. I worked in a busy acute hospital in Ireland with colleagues and friends that inspire me. Each day I am in awe of their compassion and expertise. I was fortunate to experience the life stories of the patients who pass through the wards.

My aim is to capture and explore life - in both a documentary and non formal style through digital & analogue format. I love events and gladly except an invite. I enjoy capturing the human and natural landscape through 35mm and medium format also. Experimenting with film, light & lens is an ongoing project.

Most important always: I love a good story. Cant wait to hear yours!
